HeyDazz started as a simple question: why does every phone photo look the same? Film had character — grain, warmth, halation, imperfection. We built HeyDazz to bring that soul back, without the darkroom.
The story
HeyDazz is an independent app made by Heydan in Indonesia. It began as a personal tool — a camera that could shoot with the looks of the films we love, straight out of the pocket. Friends kept asking for it, so it became an app.
Every preset in HeyDazz is derived from real references — film scans, graded footage, the streets of Tokyo and the warmth of a late-afternoon kitchen. We measure the color science, then finish each look by hand until it feels right.
No filters slapped on top. No servers holding your memories. Just a camera, a library of honest film looks, and your photos — sharp, full-resolution, and yours.
What we believe
Film first
Every preset starts from real film stock and reference footage — measured, tuned, and finished by eye. If it doesn’t feel analog, it doesn’t ship.
